Hello from 1066 – A Medieval Mosaic
Today was our last day at St Albans Cathedral and Abbey Church and Mike and I took down the exhibition today. Mike Lord came to film us while we worked. It all went very well and was not as difficult as we were worrying that it would be. We made pack up a bit easier but using plastic bags for all the electrical cables which really helped. Also, the whole area was blocked off. That didn’t stop everyone coming through but certainly helped. James the Head gardener called in to say goodbye.
These photos are a virtual tour of the cathedral with wall paintings, coat of arms, stained glass windows, and all the wonderful stonework.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
