November 18 – A Circular Walk to Hewish

A good day for a swim

Hello from 1066 – Medieval Mosaic

We stayed home most of the day to catch up with our website posts but in the afternoon we went for a walk across the railway track and then across the fields to Hewish. Back up the road to Woolminstone and across the fields to the house. Once in the fields, Honey was safe to run without the lead as there is no stock in the fields and she ran like the wind. At the bottom is a stream about a foot deep where she galloped at full speed and had a good swim. After a good shake, we were ready to go home again for tea. See the great photo of her coming out of the water.
