This counted cross stitch kit, ‘Halley’s Comet’, is the second most famous scene
in the Bayeux Tapestry. The comet was regarded as a bad omen and signified the death of a King. The scene also shows a crowd of men pointing at the star.
The kit includes 14 x A4 pages of cross stitch charts with a laminated cover picture and a laminated colour chart. These cross stitch charts have been compiled from the original Bayeux tapestry with
a maximum of 30 colours used. There is no embroidery cotton or canvas included in the kit.
