Bayeux Tapestry Counted Cross Stitch – Halley’s Comet


Halley’s Comet counted cross stitch chart has been compiled
from the original Bayeux tapestry. 30 colours in all.


This counted cross stitch kit, ‘Halley’s Comet’, is the second most famous scene
in the Bayeux Tapestry.  The comet was regarded as a bad omen and signified the death of a King. The scene also shows a crowd of men pointing at the star.

The kit includes 14 x A4 pages of cross stitch charts with a laminated cover picture and a laminated colour chart. These cross stitch charts have been compiled from the original Bayeux tapestry with
a maximum of 30 colours used. There is no embroidery cotton or canvas included in the kit.
